Dr. Joseph Seymour is a Board Certified physician who specializes in caring for all patients with diseases of the ear, nose and throat. He also has a comprehensive experience in the surgery of the head and neck. He cares for patients of all ages from infants to the geriatric population. Dr. Seymour is a native of the Detroit Metro area who completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan and received his Medical Doctorate at Wayne State University. He completed residency at Wayne State University and was awarded The Excellence in Resident Teaching Award. He believes in a patient-centered approach to care and incorporates the latest evidence-based research into patient treatment plans. He values low complication rates and integrates the latest technology to provide the best outcomes, including nerve monitoring and stereotactic image guidance. He has a special interest in the surgical management of diseases of the thyroid gland and minimally invasive sinus procedures including balloon sinus dilation. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.
